Topic: Education

Government and schools in Uganda have made a great effort to develop the education sector so that citizens get quality education from Nursery to Higher Education. However, despite their effort, there seems to be challenges that leaders of Schools face in their day-to-day operations. Having participated in many meetings involving educators at different levels, experience shows that higher education sector in Uganda is affected by challenges of different sorts. The purpose of the capstone research was to identify challenges faced by Leaders of Institutions of Higher Learning in public and private institutions in Mbale district, Eastern Region. The research was conducted as a Capstone project in partial fulfillment of the requirements of the Ph.D. Degree in Education at Texila American University. About 15 leaders and lecturers with vast experiences in Education were involved. A survey questionnaire was submitted to them and an in-depth interview was conducted. The method was descriptive and the sampling technique was purposive in nature. The findings revealed significant challenges that need to be overcome in order to improve quality of education.

    1. Very interesting and nice capstone project.
    2. What is the theoretical framework that underpines this capstone project?
    3. Next time, the reference format should be consistent or well done.
    4. The APA style should have been adopted.
    5. Names of books should have been italics but the topic in question should be normal as you rightly did.
    6. In all u have done well.

    Hello Henri Buregea Bin Rwakenda,
I hope you are doing great. You presented a well craft out abstract capturing all the necessary information that need to be in an abstract. Having fished out the challenges facing higher educational institutions in a part of Kenya, I will edge you to make the findings available to the right authorities. It may help in finding solutions to the ever increasing challenges that face the education sector not only in Kenya but many other countries across the world. You choice of using two data gathering instruments are right for a study of this nature. Keep it up.
