Title: WI-FI path finding for indoor localization using 802.11 standards

Authors: Sikandar khan, Saeeda Usman, and Adeel Akram

Topic: Engineering & Technology

Wi-Fi performs a figurative role for interior surroundings in localization lacking of any supplementary procedure or tools by means of IEEE 802.11principles. User’s site is planned on the foundation of Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI) commencing of Access Points (AP’s) contained by coverage vicinity through using Revisiting HataOkumara Formula model and method adopted is Trilateration. Tentative outcomes concluded that results are improved approximately concerning about 1.1m referenced to preceding work using the similar practice. Statistical figures shows upgrading of outcome in efficiency and being exact enough to situate user surrounded by 1m or lesser in an enclosed atmosphere.

A valuable study - must be agreed as most of the time our mobile units are indoor. Indoor environment deals with a problem of localizing the objects. Supervising and investigating the position of the things in an indoor environment with high accuracy is a difficult task and in the process how it can utilized with better efficiency are described in a very well organized way. Trilateration technique for distance estimation is described in detail and was easy to understand while I was reading the article. Overall it can be said that the researchers are successful on the study conducted.

    Dear Sir,

Thank you for your's precious comments on my article. Your comments reflect my whole paper, as you understood it from the very basic level. Truly its difficult to localize a person or gadgets in in door localization indeed accuracy is achieved through experimental results in research work.
Once again thank you for your time and valuable comments

Your paper is coherent, well-organized, and very informative.I realize it's a very broad concept to try and condense within your paper, but focusing on explicating that part might be helpful. Overall, I think you have a very strong paper that seems to fulfill the parameters of the assignment quite well.

In the last decade or so, wireless local area networks WLANs gained a lot of popularity. “Wi-Fi Alliance products are based on IEEE standards (802.11)” .Indoor environment have a problem of localizing the objects. Wirelesses sensor networks are used to monitor the physical or environmental conditions.
It is useful to gain information about weather.

compares approaches to the problem of discovering a mobile user’s location indoors. The particular challenges of location discovery using 802.11 (Wi-Fi) signalsand “organically collected” (i.e. user-generated) received signal strength maps arediscussed. Several existing and novel localizer algorithms are compared on a databaseof organically collected data. Features of local Wi-Fi “signatures” which are relevan to location discovery are identified and applied to algorithm design considerations.what is future direction of this ?

Your findings showed approximately 1.1m improvement over preceding work using similar practice as well as an upgrading of outcome in efficiency. My question is whether it is cost effective when compared to the cost of the preceding work?
    Thanks for participating.

    Dear Sir
In response to your Question it is very much cost effective as Access points are already installed in a building so there is no need of extra equipment to find user's Location within a building, campus or industry.

    Dear Dr.Nileshkumar,
In responce to your question it can be used in health departement, old people, deaf and blind people to track their location as they do not know their exact location, patient on wheel chair can be localized by this technique,

    Dear Dr.Nileshkumar,
Weather forecasting can be achieved by applying different sensors in environments and perception can be made on the basis of data
